On Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, St. Mary's County Department of Emergency Services and the Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police will host a St. Mary's County Public Safety Open House from 11 am to 3 pm at the governmental center campus at Leonard Hall Drive in Leonardtown.
The Sheriff's Office schedule of activities is:
11 am: Drone demonstration
11 am - 1 pm: Agility testing for deputy, corrections and cadet applicants (wear athletic clothing), with written testing at 1:15 pm
11:30 am: Emergency Services Team demonstration
11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Overdose Response Training (register with the St. Mary's County Health Department at www.smchd.org/overdose)
Noon: Taser and FN303 demonstration
12:30 pm: Presentation by the Department of Emergency Services -- Love Leads
1 pm: Drone demonstration
1 pm: Tour of the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center
1:30 pm: K-9 demonstration
2 pm: Taser and FN303 demonstration

Pumpkin decorating
Ponies and petting zoo
Unwanted/unused medication drop off
