For those of you that work closely with the rescues/shelters, I may be interested in adopting a new Shih Tzu. I lost my old man on Labor Day, he was a day shy of 14.
In December of 01, I adopted two brothers from the ASPCA. I'm now thinking of adopting another. It's nothing I need to do yesterday, I'm in no hurry, but I wanted to put the word out there just in case you happen across one that needs a home. I would prefer a younger dog. The other two I adopted were about 1 at the time. I prefer to keep to that age group or younger. He/she must be good with other animals and children. If I can save a dog, I'd rather do that than pay a breeder.
And no, I'm really not interested in any other breeds, I also have a 120 lb golden lab/german sheperd that I rescued too! I need to stay with the little breeds for now.
