Does anyone know anyplace in St. Marys or southern Calvert that does shoe repair? The gentleman in Leonardtown [St. Marys Shoe Repair] passed away recently. The only other places in the phone book are in Waldorf. That's a little too far for me[I live in southern St. Marys.]
TIA

Friend just told me that he got his shoes re-soled at Cobblers Bench in the mall in Waldorf. he even gave me a card for the place as he was very impressed by the owners work.

Not sure if it's still there, but on Great Mills Road, on the side of the bldg that has Jerry's and Pappa John's was a shoe repair shop. :yay:

The one-armed guy passed away? I think his name was OD? He always did my daughter's shoe lift. I didn't know he passed.

:frown: I need to know how to get my riding boots back..

if he had them for 2 years already they are already gone......

besides, did you ever see his 'system' for keeping track of the shoes? just a big pile in the next room with no labels
no one will ever be able to figure out whos are whos.
