I have a pair of shoes I would like to get the place your foot sits re-done.

Is there any where near Pax River that does this??? I have googled but found nothing.

Or can anyone recommend a good place somewhere else? The last place I took them did a crap job, removed all my cushion replaced felt but didn't cut it to the correct size and now the shoes kill me when I wear them....

I havent known of a decent cobler since the one arm man stopped closed up shop in leonardtown. I have seen signs near the CVS on GMR (it may have been a long while back dont know if it is still there).....

I went through this a couple of months ago, needed to get several heels fixed. There is no shoe repair places in St. Mary's anymore, from what I understand they've all closed. I ended up finding a place in Waldorf and this place was awesome!! There is supposed to be a couple repair shops in Waldorf, one being in the mall but I ended up at Waldorf Shoe Repair: Super friendly husband and wife team, incredibly efficient, very reasonably priced and REALLY fast-like 24 hours and done-fast. I had a zipper fixed on a pair of boots and 2 different pairs of heels that needed straps fixed, each "fix" was $12 and all done the day after I dropped them off. Waldorf might be a drive but the service was well-worth it, especially since there are NO options left in your area.

Waldorf Shoe Repair

They're right off of 301 N, in a small plaza right after the Sherwin-Williams paint store, and right before the KFC. :buddies:

Some of the Sara Lee frozen products are ok, but now and again Safeway has really good items that they make in the store too. Sometimes you can get them on the $5.00 Fridays, but most of the time they are in the 8 and up range.

The cleaners in Leonardtown (by BofA) has a sign offering shoe repair. I have not used their services.

I know the dry cleaners in old town Leonardtown across from S-Kape do shoe repairs. I just had the elastic replaced on a pair of wedges.
