reports are popping up that several witnesses saw the shooter on the rooftop and alerted Myorkasses people/fed/state/local that he was up there but nothing was done....

There was an officer who actually climbed up to the roof, confronted the shooter, and backed away when the shooter aimed at him. Lots of questions there if this is indeed factual.

Turns out it was an officer standing on another cops shoulders to get a look and when the kid turned the rifle on him he ducked and fell to the ground wiht the other cop.

Not the best platform to engage in a gunfight, I'm guessing.

The ladder that the shooter used(whether he brought it or was already there) appears to be too short and required the use of both hands to get up if it was used by the police.

Any other time the police react quickly - too quickly in many cases involving innocent citizens. So this time, the very least they could have done is fired a couple of shots in the air to get peoples attention after seeing this guy on the roof with a gun. That would have startled the assassin, the crowd, and the Donald so no kill shots of innocent people would have taken place, only the kill shot of the assassin. But it's easy to Monday morning quarterback now.

And quarterbacking without facts, just hearsay. With that said it appears the shooting was within seconds of this encounter.
Next hearsay is that the snipers were aware of the possibility of a person on the roof and couldn't get a clean shot. The different agencies, different duties on different frequencies. Why didn't the command relay to the protection detail to get the protectee out of harm's way?

Makes sense, after knowing his cover had been blown he hurriedly took his shots before he was taken out. That might be the true Trump "blessing".
