I'm not sure what other counties do, but Charles (from what I've seen online) routinely releases (on PR, low bail) folks that have illegal, loaded guns when pulled over for traffic violations. Seems to me that a county that is run by Dems would come down heavy on folks with guns but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Here's a list of Court Commissioners, the group that releases arrestees on OR/low or no bail. You'll have to wade through it to find Charles. We're District 4.

Probably closed it because (a) the customers felt threatened and (b) it was unsafe for the deputies to be there.
They bitch and whine about wanting more gun laws, yet the gun charge is the first thing that gets kicked out in the plea deal. Only violent criminals are allowed to have guns, according to the Democrats. You and I are not allowed to protect ourselves from them.

Maybe if we had a gun law to prevent kids from possessing a firearm we could be safer.
