Stop Staring!!!!!
East Spicer Dr. Subject with a Shotgun. Shots fired. Numerous Police in the area looking for him. Witness information is leading Police to believe subject is in the woods.

2309: Unfortunately I am at work now. Unable to follow with allot of focus. I do seem to understand that they are bringing a Helo Up and I think it is for this event.

2314: Police on ground directing Helo search efforts to suspected areas.

2320: Helo Still searching under the direction of the ground units. They appear to have an active Cell Phone Transmission coming from a Field they are watching. Requesting Trooper 7 search that area. Police advising they may have to start searching structures soon.

2331: Trooper 7 services no longer needed, at this time. Advising heading to the Hangar.

2353: Folks, like I said before, unfortunately I am at work and of course had something come up. I dunno what I have missed in the last 20 minutes or so. Miss Perky or Roberta, Have you ladies heard anything???

0008: I believe the majority of the Officers are clearing from this event. I don't know what the outc0me is/was.

You got about as much as I have. Some times it is real hard to get the full picture of what is going on. Keep me posted. I have to get in the kitchen and cook dinner. I am HUNNNGRY!
They said they are looking for some sort of body??

Roberta, my understanding is that they are looking for the Heat Signature of a Human Beings Body. I did not take this to mean they are looking for a Deceased persons body. I hope not anyway. If they are looking for a deceased subject I certainly missed something important.

One of the disadvantages to listening to the scanner. Multiple calls going on at the same time can confuse.

Yep, Had I been at the house I could have beat that simply by just tasking each event to a different scanner.

I normally try to avoid posting much on any Police related events. I am afraid I will say something that the officers would rather not have said in public. I try to only put something out if I think there is gong to be some large search effort underway or traffic is gonna be hosed. At least that way our forumite friends might at least have some idea of what is going on in their area. But I try to shy away on the details.

I try to do the same for the Fire/EMS calls. Each time I give out a bit too much detail it comes back to haunt me because a family member belongs to the forum or something similiar. So I try to keep it simple. Basically not much more than what a traffic advisory might be. I wish I could keep up with the Fire Calls well enough to be able to give credit to the units involved. But things get so hectic I am sure I would miss a few and if I can't give credit to the proper units invovlved I would rather not give it at all excet on a general basis.
