Should we be concerned?

That was really nice of you too.

Look at all you've accomplished. We discussed butternut squash as a new method of communication, old phone numbers, old songs, recipes, pig cookies, oysters, biology, breaking wind, ketchup, fried chicken, Gilligan and the almost heaven 7th district (SGI is 7th district?), and closed with several pages of hen houses and Little Lady verbosity (suffer from that one myself). If nothing else, I think this proves that forumites are an intelligent lot and well-versed on a number of subjects. The only thing that was missing was a discussion on a variety of testicles and face it - you just can't work that into the conversation sometimes.

And you were the catalyst TPD. Pat yourself on the back and take the day off - you deserve it!
I emigrated from 7D to SGI almost 30 years ago. I was a fugitive....a refuge...trying to elude angry ex wife..

It's not 7th District then? Sorry - from what I hear that was probably an insult.
When my 7D friends heard I was moving to SGI, you woulda thought I had farted in church. Wasn't that many years ago when shots were exchanged between 7th and 9th watermen over the grounds between the two. ;-)

Were you an engineer, deck hand or punt-gunner during the oyster wars?

I need to look that up - sounds interesting. Got a little paragraph that I could read from WP before they asked for money "In St. Mary's County, a bunch of young watermen started sneaking …. and I could read a name Clem Cheseldine - I know that's local.

Grilled, fried or steamed? Fresh or frozen? With or without other parts? Deer, sheep, pig, bull, human? (No dic pics )

It was in the Stupid Question Time thread. Mostly fried, no deer, no sheep, touched briefly on human but not deep fried. It was actually very informative.

@TPD - my apologies for running over the container of spackle that I just purchased in your store. I dropped it on the way out and it rolled under my car, so I backed up hoping I would spot it if I backed up far enough. Didn't work out like I planned. Your lovely daughter volunteered to clean it up for me.

I still visualize Mike Rowe castrating sheep with his teeth, that visual is permanent I think. On the other hand I think Mike would be my choice of a drinking buddy just for the stories.

I just had to look didn't I? Dry heaving my dinner as we speak.
