Brave? Brave would be taking my smartassiness to the politics thread - which is exactly why I prefer Chit Chatty and Food Stuff. The people who contribute there are uplifting and make me laugh.

Politics ain't bean bag. I cut my teeth in the politics forums when I first came onboard to SOMD. sigh Those were the good old days.

My dad was an avid political show watcher back in the day of regular network TV. I grew up on shows like Point CounterPoint, MacNeil/Lehrer Report, and Firing Line with William F. Buckley, Jr., who was one of my absolute favorites back then. After my dad passed in 2002, I lost my political discussion buddy, so when I found the SOMD forums, I followed the political forums a few years off and on until I joined and started posting.

Does anyone remember a poster named Bruzilla? I think he despiiiiiiiised me! :lmao:

I take my political frustrations out in twitter or by yelling at the television or another forum that I'm on - that one is strictly political. I'm sure the majority on here are Republicans and I'm happy that I'm getting to know (cyberily speaking) without politics entering into it.

That sounds more like Norse.
Nuh uh. Vikings pillage - I've watched all 90 episodes and there's pillaging in at least half of them. Other fun stuff too.

Oh wait a minute - we were talking about Pagans before that weren't we? Vikings were Pagans though weren't they?
