I agree that Imus' comments were uncalled for but who the heck does Al Sharpton think he is? I think he needs to apoligize for being a total idiot who does nothing more than cause problems when it comes to race relations. He is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Why were his remarks uncalled for.. because he used the same "terms of endearment" black people use?

I never knew Nappy Headed Ho, to be a rcist remark.. Granted I didn't see their pitures, but as far as I know he's right.

If black women wanted to be treated with respect, they should complain moreso when a black person uses deregatory terms moreso than a redneck who they should careless about.

It's racist because obviously since basketball is a majority black sport, he mean it it to be racist. Now, baseball - that's a majority white sport. If that comment were made by a black commentator to a white sports team, that would be totally acceptable.

Sharpton never complained when Elliott (DC101) wished Juan Pablo Montoya would die. Is that because Montoya is hispanic, not black? :shrug:
