Vaxxed Dr. Fauci Acknowledges COVID Vaccines ‘Don’t Protect Overly Well’ Against Infection​

“One of the things that’s clear from the data [is] that even though vaccines – because of the high degree of transmissibility of this virus – don’t protect overly well, as it were, against infection, they protect quite well against severe disease leading to hospitalization and death,” he said.

‘Startling Admission’: ‘We’re Going To Be Living With’ COVID For Decades, Fauci Says​

Fauci sat down with Judy Woodruff of “PBS NewsHour,” who asked Fauci: “Here we are. It’s the end of April. It’s the spring of 2022. How close are we to the end of the pandemic?”

“We are certainly, right now, in this country out of the pandemic phase,” Fauci replied. “Namely, we don’t have 900,000 new infections a day and tens and tens and tens of thousands of hospitalizations and thousands of deaths. We are at a low level right now.”

“So, if you’re saying, are we out of the pandemic phase in this country, we are,” he added.

But the next day, Fauci walked it all back.

“We are in a different moment of the pandemic,” Fauci told the Associated Press. While the U.S. has “decelerated and transitioned into more of a controlled phase” of the virus, he added, “by no means does that mean the pandemic is over.”

Fauci did more damage control, telling The Washington Post: “The world is still in a pandemic. There’s no doubt about that. Don’t anybody get any misinterpretation of that.”

On Sunday, White House COVID coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha declared the new BA.5 subvariant of COVID “the most immune evasive” and urged older Americans and those with compromised immune systems to take a booster shot.

The vaccines and boosters that Americans took were targeted at the original strain, and while it offers protection from severe illness with other variants, Jha said that is limited.

Under Fauci’s influence, the US Coronavirus Task Force then proceeded to commit every epidemiological sin in the book. Among his mistakes were:

Contact tracing: At the outset of the US outbreak, Fauci insisted on contact tracing. An enormous amount of valuable time and resources was wasted trying to track down every last person who might have come into contact with every person who might have had COVID — because Fauci insisted on it. He actually made Zoom calls to groups of hundreds of “contact tracers” to give them pep talks.

Failing to protect the vulnerable: As the coronavirus produced a cascade of corpses in geriatric Italy, but merely gave the young the sniffles, it was already clear by early March 2020, what demographic was at high risk.

Closing the schools: From the first, Fauci was calling for nationwide school closures. On March 12, 2020, for example, he said, “One thing I do advise . . . [is] mitigation. And what was done when you close the schools is mitigation.”

Mistakes on natural immunity: Perhaps one day Fauci will tell us why, throughout the last half of 2020 and 2021, he ignored, dismissed, even ridiculed the idea that those who had recovered from COVID-19 had acquired natural immunity. This wasn’t the way he was talking at the outset of the pandemic.

Funding Chinese Labs: Fauci committed his “original pandemic sin” long before the present pandemic by playing a key role in enabling it. The long-time head of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Disease was the chief cheerleader and funder of gain of function research — the dangerous idea that deadly viruses could be created and studied in the lab to help prevent the next pandemic.

Fauci Wishes COVID Restrictions Had Been 'Much More Stringent'​

"If I knew in 2020 what I know now, we would do a lot differently," he said during an interview on HillTV's Rising.

"We were not sure of a number of things," Fauci admitted, despite his projected confidence during the earlier months of the pandemic and insistence that anyone questioning him was attacking Science(TM) itself. "We were not sure really of the complete modality of transmission. We knew and started to get information at the end of January and the beginning of February that this virus could spread from an asymptomatic person — we did not fully appreciate the extent of that," he said.

"The insidious nature of spread in the community would have been much more of an alarm, and there would have been much, much more stringent restrictions in the sense of very, very heavy encouraging people to wear masks, physical distancing, or what have you," Fauci said. "We also were not fully aware as we are now that this virus is also spread by aerosol spread which we did not fully realize at the time," he added. "There were some hints of that."

Senate witness cites Fauci for 'repeated demonstrably false' denials of gain-of-function research​

NIH Principal Deputy Director Lawrence Tabak told the House Oversight Committee last fall that NIH-funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology using a modified bat coronavirus made mice "sicker" than the original virus, an "unexpected result of the research."

So-called doctor Anthony Fauci previously testified to Congress that the NIH never EVER funded gain of function research, no way, no how, what a perfectly ridiculous idea, how dare you. But the committee’s three witnesses yesterday all testified to the EXACT OPPOSITE.

Responding to a question from Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), Rutgers University microbiologist Dr. Richard Ebright testified, “The statements made on repeated occasions to the public, to the press and to policymakers by the NIAID director, Dr. Fauci, have been untruthful. I do not understand why those statements are being made because they are demonstrably false.”

Senator Paul has taken the eminently reasonable position that if we have strict controls over exporting nuclear technology, we should also have similar strict controls over exporting other weapons of mass destruction like DNA manipulation technology. In other words, our gain of function research should have never been in a lab in Wuhan, China.

Dr. Fauci: If you aren’t up-to-date on Covid vaccines and boosters, you’re ‘going to get into trouble’​

That’s a problem heading into the fall and winter. The U.S. could experience a major Covid surge with 100 million new infections and a wave of deaths in those upcoming months, White House Covid response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha projected in May.

Fauci called the country’s vaccine and booster rates “quite discouraging” and pointed to one potential reason why people aren’t up-to-date: They simply think they don’t need the additional doses, because they fall outside of high-risk populations for Covid. Those populations include the elderly, those with underlying or immunocompromising conditions and fully unvaccinated people.

“People say, ‘Well the risk to me is low. So why get it?’” Fauci said.

The reason, Fauci explained, is that the longer the virus circulates, the more of a chance it gets to mutate into a new variant that could threaten even low-risk populations. In other words, if you get Covid and fully recover without much fuss, you might personally be fine — but you’re actively extending the virus’s lifespan and giving it a chance to adapt even further.

But Fauci recently took it a step further, claiming during a discussion that people go to medical school because of what he symbolizes.

According to Fauci, “in an era of the normalization of untruths and lies,” he represents “consistency, integrity” and most laughably, “truth.”

It’s hard to believe the hubris and lack of integrity required to make these claims after Fauci’s disastrous tenure running the nation’s COVID response.
