Harley's are EASY to ride, according to her. Mine is not. I gotta get my girl, 1bdz, to ride mine and let me know if I should switch to the Harley. It was just very funny to see my sister on mine saying it was a hard bike to ride. She's ridden FOREVER on Harley's. I thought I was just a tard.FireBrand said:There is a sportster somewhere just waitin' for ya !
Just a thought but the bike might have been in a gear other than first which would make it impossible to pull itself up a hill. Harleys are very easy to drive and if she has ridden any bike for 25 yrs, I'm sure she knows about clutches & hills.BS Gal said:Could NOT get my bike up the incline from the garage. She's ridden Harley's for 25 years. She killed it 3x before I had to pull it out for her up the little hill. She hated the clutch. She says "not an easy bike to ride." I feel better now.

I remember the terror of learning how to work a clutch with a car right behind me on a steep hill.
This is off topic because it was a 5-speed Honda Accord and I had no experience.
I think I ended up popping the clutch and taking a very hard right. I got out of it somehow, and now I just love to sit on a hill in a manual...no foot on the brake.
While making vroom vroom noises?Pete said:My bike wont even take off from a level surface. I have to start walking it to get it moving then do the bow legged run to get it to 15 mph before I let out the clutch.
Normally I am breathing too hard to make any noise other than a grunt.desertrat said:While making vroom vroom noises?

...and destroying the clutch & flywheel in the process.Wenchy said:

Since I don't know you, what type of bike is it? Then I can decide if it was the bike or the driver.BS Gal said:Could NOT get my bike up the incline from the garage.
