A professor at the University of Houston is testing an iPhone app that can reportedly detect melanoma with an 85% accuracy rate, according to a report from the university spotted by 9to5Mac.

The app, called DermoScreen, is still in its early testing phases.

Developed by George Zouridakis, professor engineering technology at the University of Houston, the app works with a $500 dermoscope attachment and a special magnifying lens.





I guess Android users like me will just get the cancer. :ohwell:
