Skins/Lions...

Football season!
I say keep the ball out of brunell's hands. Just portis, portis, portis. Hell, just have portis line up under center. Anything to keep the balls out of out current QBs hands.

Yes. the receivers have had some drops. But can you blame them? When they only get one or two passes a game anywhere NEAR their hands, they are just surprised when one does arrive where it is supposed to be.

This is absurd...

...we're trying, I'm convinced, to lose. Call a time out when we have NO chance to get the ball back?

That is the first time...

...I've ever seen guys have to SLOW DOWN to block a punt.

DAMN! They got there WITH the ball!

Hail....

NOPE. To early!

What ARE you people moaning about?

The 'Skins are up 17 - 3, it's the third quarter, uh folks, they're winning!

If I hadn't turned on the TV and checked the score, I would have thought the 'Skins were actually losing - by the posts in this thread.

So, are all you weiners happy now?

The Lions did make it little interesting in the last 2 minutes of the game, but it looks like the 'Skins defense and special teams finally showed up for once.

ding ding ding!
Hopefully Gibbs, unlike Bush, reads the papers!

"The Redskins might have a chance to turn it around in the second half of the season if they can figure out a way to get the ball to Portis - a lot.

In their previous two wins, Portis ran for 148 and 171 yards and averaged 32.5 carries. In their five losses, he didn't reach 100 yards rushing and averaged 68.8 on 21 carries."

I'm happy they won - yes. A win is good for the team. :yay:

But I'm concerned they didn't do it with their offense, especially a very ineffective quarterback. I see the light - Brunnell needs to go.
