skunks anybody?

I'm having a problem with a sneaky skunk near my house. Almost every night, I wake up to have the nasty smell of skunk in my home. I'm not sure if one is hanging around the house at night or what but the smell is really making me sick. Anybody else ever dealt with this? I would love to find out how to persuade him to spray his nastiness somewhere else. lol.

You could set a trap and attemp to catch it .:shrug: I dunno what you would do with it if you did catch it, but I wouldn't go any where neat the trap. Maybe call Animal control. Good luck -- they sure are stinkers. :faint:

Has anyone else noticed that for some reason, this year there seem to be a lot more of them out? Or at least, DEAD ones on the road? I don't think a single week goes by in St Mary's where I don't see a new one in the road.

I live on Flat Iron too. On the Christmas tree farm, not too far from you. We must have a whole family of skunks living here. I see them all the time and stay far far away. My stupid ole dog has been sprayed 3 times since November. You'd think he'd learn. :ohwell:

We have to keep plenty of tomato juice on the shelves.

There is fresh roadkill skunk every week on 249, some lucky weeks there might be one in Tall Timbers and one in Callaway.

There are less and less of their predators (foxes) around to keep the population down, thus there will be more and more of them to deal with.
