The news reports have been pouring in by the hundreds regarding these persecuted Christians, but the meaning of that word has been lost in the shuffle. I am not denying or insisting that there are no true believers among those who are being slaughtered, starved and inhumanely raped and abused. What I am saying is that we, as worshipers of the One, True Lord have allowed our God-given sense of human justice to run ahead of the truth. We are crying out – no, demanding – that these “fellow believers” be assisted. We are urging one another to remember them as bound with them. But they are not fellow believers. They are lost, and they need Jesus who came to offer only one way – a way which they have not taken. And I quote from Joshua Berlinger with CNN,
