Sleep Apnea diagnosis could cost you driver's license in Maryland

Interesting news here. So, how exactly did the state find out about this guy's medical diagnosis?? Insurance company? medical provider? But, your medical data is PRIVATE and protected by Federal HIPPA law.... The law say:

"A HIPAA-covered health care provider or health plan may share your protected health information if it has a court order. This includes the order of an administrative tribunal. However, the provider or plan may only disclose the information specifically described in the order."
