Sleeping Arrangements

This is not a raging debate like the ‘over - under’ toilet paper issue, but, none the less, it is an important matter. The matter being, for couples, on which side of the bed does the man sleep?

For reference, assume you are standing at the foot of the bed looking toward the head of the bed.

Facing the bed, he is on the left and I'm on the right. Laying in the bed on my back, he's to my right and I'm on his left. If I lay on my stomach, he's on my left again.

It's all so confusing.

He is in the left. Not just st home but even when we are on travel.

Depends on which side is closest to the door. That's mine. If an intruder comes in, they get me first, she has time to scream.

Husband sleeps in his own bed on his own floor of the house so he can sleep on whatever side he wants. But for the sake of this poll, it's the left side because that's the side his CPAP is on.

THAT is usually the main reason, whether at home or traveling.

She has always slept closest to the baby's room. When we heard the "I'm hungry" cry she would answer the call. I wasn't physically equipped to deal with that anyway. If it was a "I'm scared" cry or any other type of crying I would usually get past her on the way through the door.
