Slovenia ski touring

Hi,
We're going to Slovenia middle of January, but are struggling to see whether there is any snow, and if not (?!) whether the snow cannon which are there are working and how much Slovenia ski touring there is available !
If anyone has been recently and can advise on what the skiing is like, that would be really helpful.
We're also staying at the Bohinj - again, any feedback welcome...

On your first trip you should have developed some contacts to call for this information. Or just call the hotel Bohinj, where you last stayed, and ask them. Or here's a novel idea, use the magical wonder of the internet to find out what the weather is currently over there.
