A friend of mine is wanting to have her own website for her business. I searched the forums and there was a mention of godaddy.com, a yahoo one and a gothic something or other. Just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? She wants people to be able to order and pay for products. TIA for the info. Enjoy this beautiful day :howdy:

I have used godaddy several times to register domain names. I haven't hosted with them. In my opinion they are easy to work with. I don't know if they provide shopping cart options but you can always use a third party product. I have also registered domains and have sites hosted at yahoo. Yahoo does provide shopping cart features and a lot of other tools to maintain your site.

I used GoDaddy last week my site was up in a few hours. They even called me just to see if I was happy and if there was anything I needed help with. Less than $50 for domain name and a year of hosting.
