I have to give Tuggy pills for the next two weeks. Well this morning I gave him his pill, and what did he do look right at me and spit it out on the floor. :ohwell:

Ever try wrapping his pills in meat.. like a slice of ham? Worked on my American Foxhound... that or icecream.. he LOVED icecream..

Then you're not getting the pill far enough down his throat. I give Bear glucosamine every morning, followed by a cookie so that he swallows both.

I did shove it down further the next time, and followed it with some boiled hamburger. I am NOT a morning person, so the brain hadn't started yet. Tuggy is on a bland food diet right now, so I am limited with what I can feed him. I DON'T need to trigger the projectile runs again...He is on his diet for 4 more days.

I am! :banana: ... 2A isn't - and he doesn't understand why I get up so early, but if I slept 'til noon the day would be half over for me. :lol:

I did shove it down further

Once you get it down past the back of the tongue, and holding your finger there, rub the outside throat with the other hand. It causes them to swallow. Works everytime.

For whoever gave me negative karma for talking about my GD dog, it is no worse then people that talk non-stop about their kids all the time. HE IS my kid.
