Just curious since I am beginning to weigh the newer costs by SMECO against alternatives.

For one - if electricity becomes exorbitant - then solar doesn’t look so expensive.

Every schpiel on that I ever heard was about “greener, planet-friendly sources”, nothing about being cheaper.

It just feels like another scam. It’s the same electron-hole pairs coming over the same SMECO owned power lines. SMECO is sure not going to lose money on that deal, the other company has to make money to employ all of those snake-power salesmen, so somebody has to pay for it, and that would be me and you. No thanks.
