Smoke on the water and fire in the sky

We certainly saw the smoke and the odors this morning as the Sun Rose.... Local government people say there are significant forest fires in NorthEast North Carolina.

There seems to be an awful lot of troubling events going on. Several big fires, train derailments, more school murders, catastrophic virus, economy in the ditch, tornados, Russians at the door, over population of "guest" visitors.

Nothing funny about that.

At least it's not the Great Dismal Swamp on fire again. That whole area was on fire for quite a while a couple years back bringing smelly smoke up to these parts.
