In My Opinion
back in 82 while still in the Navy, I woke up to about an inch of ice on the roads, and snow falling. Went to start the car and the battery was dead.
had to get to the base (they dont understand not being there because of weather) so, Im looking at the bike,, then try to start the car again,, look back at the bike.. try to start the car again.

you know, that bike ride was cold and damp, but it was kinda fun now that I lived to look back on it.

the look on peoples faces was worth every slide I took.

Me too .. My daughter and I had a blast time with my Arctic Cat 500 ATV. We took turn snowboarding and riding. I pulled my daughter on the snowboard then I showed her what her cool Daddy can do on the snowboard. Told her go faster and faster until I can ski/ride all over.

Went SmoLuging yesterday in Virginia.

SmoLuging

Way back... (1982) I live on Adak Alaska (Aluetian Islands) I would ride my modified for island legal use KX250 365 days of the year.... Navy security force did not like it at all when I went to work in a white out snow condition alpha on my bike.. I had 13" car tire snow chains cable tied to the rims of the KX and wore a snowmobile suit and a home made nose heater defroster in the helmet. I was the only one to climb "Command Car Hill" without sliding back down.
