Smow cream

1 gallon smow
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk

Stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency.

Just like Mom usta make.


This is a great base to build on-use chocolate milk instead of white, rum instead of vanilla, you can add coconut too; whatever-be creative.

oh man, mom used to make that when we were little. She'd sprinkle powdered koolaid on top.

Dad used to make this for us when my Brother and I were growing up. We always wanted it to snow in the winter just so we could have snow cream.

We always used evaporated milk. I've never heard of sprinkling it with flavored kool-aid. Sounds interesting. What is the preferred flavor.

I don't know why I'm asking, seeing as I have never bought Kool-Aid before.

We always used evaporated milk.

Yup 3 eggs.....1/3 of a cup of evaporated milk, 1/4 tsp. of vanilla extract.....something like that. I haven't made snowcream in years.
