As the SMYFFL is quickly approaching another very successful season, we would like to pass along some information about some of the programs and events we have planned for the upcoming months.

The SMYFFL is proud to announce that we are offering the first ever youth flag football camp. This camp is designed strictly for youth flag football players in conjunction with SMYFFL NFL Flag Football Rules. Our coaches will be focused on flag football drills and teach the fundamentals of the game. Advanced players will also be able to enhance their abilities through our camp by learning tips and techniques for both offense and defense. This camp is open to all boys and girls ages 6-12 regardless of skill level. The camp will be held July 20th-July 24th (M-F) at Wade Elementary in Charles county from 9am - 12pm. In-Person registration will be available this coming Saturday behind the Chaney Building from 9am - 5pm during our "Family Day". Online camp registration will be available June 1st at SMYFFL HomePage. Additional information regarding the camp can also be seen now at SMYFFL HomePage

On Saturday July 25th the SMYFFL will host its annual NFL Punt,Pass and Kick competition. Last year we had 4 local winners from our competition advance all the way through the sectional tournament to the regional tournament that was held at Fedex field. The competition is FREE to enter and we host other activities as well during this event. Our PPK will be at Wade Elementary from 10am - 2pm.

Registration for the SMYFFL NFL Flag Fall season will begin online June 1st at SMYFFL HomePage. With 52 teams this spring season and over 500 kids, we are looking at reaching our maximum again this fall with 400 kids. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Please frequent the website in the next few weeks for information on In-Person registration dates and times that will be held at Modells Sporting Goods in Waldorf sometime in July.

The Southern Maryland Youth FLAG Football League (SMYFFL) is not affiliated and should not be confused with the Southern Maryland Youth Football League (SMYFL).
