“Saturday Night Live” comedian Pete Davidson is drawing fire for poking fun at an eyepatch worn by a Republican war veteran running for Congress.

“This guy’s kinda cool — Dan Crenshaw, You may be surprised to learn he’s a congressional candidate from Texas and not a hitman in a porno movie,” Davidson said during the skit in which he gave “first impressions” of electoral candidates.
“I’m sorry — I know he lost his eye in war or whatever,” he chuckled.

“Good rule in life: I try hard not to offend; I try harder not to be offended. That being said, I hope @nbcsnl recognizes that vets don’t deserve to see their wounds used as punchlines for bad jokes,” tweeted Crenshaw, a retired Navy SEAL who lost an eye in Afghanistan.
He later called the joke “absolutely disgusting.”

Saw him a little while ago being interviewed by Neal Cavuto(I think)..very impressive guy, pretty much let the SNL crap roll off his back, acted like it wasn't worth the trouble to respond to it.

Reverse the roles and the left is smashing windows and burning stuff down. Maybe for the left, this can be a learning situation. Handle things with maturity instead of acting out and resort to name calling.
