National Weather Service has issued a Snow Advisory for Charles County and points North & West. Snow should be starting mid to late morning with 1-2 inches expected. According to NWS accumulating snow will also fall in Calvert and St. Mary's, just not enough for advisory criteria.

Be safe!! :cartwheel

:yeahthat: And since when did 1 to 2 inches of snow require an advisory?

Since Always...

A winter weather advisory is issued when one or more of the following conditions are met:

2 inches of snow east of a line from Frederick Maryland to
Charlottesville Virginia
3 inches of snow west of a line from Frederick Maryland to
Charlottesville Virginia.

So since it is 1 to 2 that equals an advisory (doesn't seem to meet even their criteria).
Well it is the first event of the season...and considering there are a lot of visitors in town for tomorrow I guess they just erred on the side of caution.

Be Dodging Neons on the way home tonight!! I've got the recovery strap in the back of my truck.. so maybe spend some time rescuing Jeeps from ditches.. rescuing damsels in distress.. and recovering soccer Moms in the Urban Assault Vehicles..
