Snow storm time lapse project

I setup my camera up yesterday and programed in to take a photograph every ten minutes. It has been running for the last 24 hours that way. I downloaded the pictures a little while ago and made a time lapse video with them.

Love it. Did you use the computer to control the camera, or was it in camera timing?

I used a Satechi remote to control the time lapse.

The tree limbs moved down last night at the branches got heavier, then when it started to rain and sleet a good bit of snow fell off the trees.

Very cool time-lapse photography! :buddies:

Unfortunately, the Fir tree in my back yard, has not cleared itself of the accumulated snow, winds, melting, etc., aren't doing it, and my DirecTV dish is being blocked by some higher up limbs.

Good thing my PC has a TV card installed, so I may still be able to watch the Super Bowl.

Thanks for the video! :yay:

That was just wild! That tree looked sad there for a bit. I love to see anything you do. You are so talented!!!

I assume the exposure was controlled automatically by the camera? You got lucky with moisture on the lense, didn't see any until towards the end?

Great show! :yay:

BTW, did anyone see the cat falling out of the tree?
