You actually don't need a uniform, or encampment...
Just enjoy the mismanagement, malaise, poor decisions, mangled foreign policy, embarrassments of the Jimmy Carter years.
Fuel crisis, worry about the environment, Marches in Europe denouncing escalation of nuclear fears...yup...its all right in front of us.
Sit back and watch the Dems (and apathetic Repubs) recreate that era.
Any chance we can revive disco just add that extra touch of realism?

PS...This doesn't have to last just for a weekend,...in fact Uncle Joe and his progressive idiot friends can keep this rolling for years.

Those were some of the best years of my life. Got out of high school, got a good "bigboy" job. Lots of time and energy for the party lifestyle. Made money I never expected to, no property, no kids, no worries. Met my wife of over 30 mostly very happy years, still together.

Now I'm at the other end. Kids grown and on their own. House paid off. Retiring next year. This time no debt, no worries.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

I have always kept my expenses at a minimum and I had some savings in the bank that were earning 17% interest. The 0.5% I earn now is pretty sorry.
Not to pick on you. But to earn, is where one, through their labor, produces something or performs a service. Money doesn't earn. People do. : )

Mmmm....if you do it right, money earns.
Well, one way to look at that is if one purchases raw materials and makes something usable, a final product, that another would buy. That's a way money earns, but only with, and in addition to, the labor that made the item. :yay:

I attended an impromptu Funeral For Disco in the summer of 78.
Bands on the bill were: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Saxon and Samson.

The bands were in the northeast for concerts and had a few off days.
The promoter convinced them to do a One Off.

Bruce Dickinson was still with Samson.
Paul Di Anno was with Iron Maiden.

Saw Styx with Cheap Trick when we lived near Rockford, IL in the late 90's.

A friend of mine was in a local band, I played Roadie for him one time. They were opening for Disturbed in one of the Chicago burbs (Hoffman Estates). Shay was a friend of Dave Draiman and introduced me. In person, Dave is a gentleman and speaks with you.
