Within 30 min. of Leesburg there are several interesting wineries, Tarara being one. It is a winery in a manmade cave and has delicious wines. There is Middleburg Winery with good snacks to go along with their wines and another winery that is in a barn that I cannot think of right now. It is on a dirt road with beautiful scenery.pvineswinger said:I have two free tickets to Tarara for a tour and tasting...but no date...
Any takers...?

On the second note, perhaps you should get your facts straight before calling me such a name, for I am neither.

Now, hopefully you will be banned/deleted for being stupid enough to post foul language on-line.

No, that's ok. I appreciate the offer. If she hasn't actually been banned, I'm sure she will be providing more entertainment in the near future. :hotelcalifornia:jaybeeztoo said:It's now in the private forums Dymphna, want me to cut and paste some?

I used to attend the Va. Wine Festival at The Plains...It finally grew too big and overcrowded but I have tasted Linganore and Horton and Grey Ghost and alot of other good, local, inexpensive wines. CHEERS! psst, we need a wine glass smilie!Mikeinsmd said:Linganore in Frederick, MD

Yes, you were. I think you were trying to bail out of the train wreck with that statement... Then you took another peek.

I have been to Ingleside at least 25 times. Their barrel tastings are a blast when you bring a lunch and party..lol..And they free pour as opposed to a metered spout. I adore that place.RoseRed said:![]()
Ingleside Winery, Horton Vineyards, Clos du Bois...
They make some great seasonal wines... not bad for a winery in a barn!pvineswinger said:Yummy I got a bottle of Linganore Merlot(?) for Christmas last year- i might have been Cabernet, but I don't recall- I drank it!!!
