Now for some background on the picture. It was allegedly done by one of three immigrant children (ages 10, 10 and 11) who were not able to be located in the respite center after their release from the detention center. These were not randomly drawn pictures. The drawings were requested by an investigator. It is entirely possible that content was coached in order to project the investigator's premise of mistreatment, although no mistreatment is shown. It should be noted that the children who allegedly drew the three pictures were not separated from their families.
