I stopped at PetCo yesterday and purchased a few of the pre-packaged dog bundles each for the girls. I also picked up a package of the Air Dog squeaker tennis balls that I use in Lily's Chuck-It to play ball with her.
The bag has been on the dining room table since I returned home yesterday and tonight she indicated interest by sitting and staring and making her little noises, often shy whimper-like. I asked her to show me what she wanted
duh and she gently stood on the table's edge and nosed the bag.
I pull the bag down with all of the goodies and ask her again to show me what she wanted. Searching for the thing that truly makes her the happiest dog in the world, she pulled out the 3 pk of balls (now in netting). I let her carry them off until she got one out and then played with her for a sec telling her I'd let her keep it if she didn't bug me. (we have a no balls in the house rule as she is quite addicted to them!

So, I guess I inadvertantly got her what she really wanted and she was able to get it early!!!
