IMHO. It would not go over well at all. Thinking it would be the catalyst for all out anarchy and righteous anger directed towards the left and the crazies. Think along the lines of "The Shot Heard Around The World". With the people as a whole, it would definitely be a situation nothing like when Kennedy was killed. Any national mourning would happen well after engagements ended.

We can elect Trump anyway. He's still a more intelligent option than Brandon or Harris.
