I went to a wine tasting festival in Columbia, and let me tell you -- it was much different than I expected. There were families there, it was all outdoors, bands, food concessions, but still a good time. Plus, you got to keep your wine glass. If I go to another one, I'll remember to take a chair.

I went to my first festival style wine tasting this year, too. I was also surprised that it was a "family" event, considering there's really nothing for the children. I was somewhat disappointed that there were so many kids there. I was looking forward to an adult outting.

Aren't you too young to be drinking?

I have been to many and there is usually something for the kids. :flowers:

Time for a nap
I went to "Release Day" at the Silver Oak winery in Napa Valley last year. It was just a huge party (the police were even directing traffic) and you got to taste and buy their newly released wine. We stayed there most of the afternoon eating the food and drinking...:otter:
