97.7 "The Rocket" :larry:

WKIK, 102.9. Hated country until about 6 months ago, then that's the only station I could get at work, now I love it. :yay: But I don't like "Awesome" Frank Dawson....he's on every one of the Southern Maryland Stations and he spends way too much time at Ralph's Dodge on Rt. 4.

:killingme: "Awesome" Frank Dawson is about the worst, hands-down, DJ I've ever heard on public radio. I know he probably means well but if I have to listen to one of his meaningless conversations with "Bubba" again about NASCAR, I'm going to shoot my radio.

And I agree, he spends wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much time at Ralph's Dodge in Prince Frederick. I'm thinking he must be related to the owner somehow.

I haven't been able to find a good southern Maryland radio station. WKIK is okay but they don't have live information in the morning (in case you were wondering, the so-called traffic report is simply repeated over and over again with little to no updates).

I just bought a 2006 minivan that had Sirius satellite radio built in and the previous owner must have paid for a year in advance. I'm listening to free satellite radio until it stops playing...then I'll check out the radio stations again!

I enjoy MoJo on The Rocket, he gets me going in the a.m.
I was a fan of Star until recently, OMG what is with that trivia game!

I depend on this place for news, although it isn't always accurate.

My son's best friend was killed in a car accident in December and I remember the next week hearing the story about 20 times in one day on that station. It was heart breaking.
