I understand there are other militaries in the world who allow gays to serve openly and without harassment, and I'm fine with that as long as the fraternization and PDA regs are enforced across the board.

This is something else entirely, and our military has to be, along with our country, the laughing stock of the entire world. Who looks at our country and both fears and respects it?
