I’m heading south on 5 through Hughesville and noticed what I thought was a motorcycle with a side car at the Harley place…….it turns out the sidecar was a casket.

That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a motorcycle hearse.

We had a rider in PA that bought one and wanted to hire it out, the state wouldn't let him register it as it was too unsafe.. etc etc..

Unsafe for WHO!!? The guy in the casket?

Saw a similar set up with a Kayak mount on the sidecar.

I'm pretty sure that's all a part of the Fallen Heroes ride stuff they do. Thousands of bikes with flags led by the bike with the casket. It will honestly leave you awestruck.

It was something......I was one of the cars that held traffic back as the 100+ bikes came out behind it.

Wow, wish I could have seen that. I bet it was a sight.

However, I avoid Rt 5 in Hughesville as much as possible these days!

On the way back from PA yesterday, I saw about 6 old BSA motorcycles, which is the most I've ever seen at one time. One had a side car that looked like an Easter egg, with little windows so the passenger could have a view.

There was also an old Japanese bike show in one of the towns I went through, but I got in town to late to really see more than a few bikes.

Dog the Bounty Hunter will be at the big bike show in York in October, I think I might ride up for that.
