Do you suppose by going batshit over gender and trans the Democrats will also get same sex marriage re-evaluated? Or get transgender criminalized?

This is what they do - go so far overboard that they horrify and repulse 99% of Americans, who then demand that they be legally stopped. Democrats all like, "Oh, you're a bigot!" and normal people respond with, "No, you're a disgusting ghoulish freak and we're stopping this sh*t right now."

You'd think the Democrat Party would rein in their extremist destructive members, or at least not jump on the crazy train with them, yet here we are. The GOP doesn't do that; some nutter spews KKK/whatever nonsense, mainstream Republicans are the first to tell them to **** off. They don't get embraced and normalized. But Democrats have never met a psychopath they didn't like. They think Christians who go to church are more dangerous than some adult man in a fright wig dancing in a g-string for children. They think it's A-OK for adult men to get naked and wave their dicks around little girls and anyone who objects is the bad guy.

Democrats literally destroy everything they touch. They destroyed abortion rights because of their zeal to be as sick and depraved as they possibly could be; will they do this to marriage or trans rights as well?

I know some folks will be like, "Well....good," but I'm not a fan. I was pro abortion until the disgusting Democrats decided dismembering full term and actually born babies should be a thing. I am firmly in favor of marriage rights because what consenting adults do isn't the government's business and I have a live and let live attitude toward trans. Will the disgusting Democrats change my mind on that too?

How does the Democrat Party not understand that by embracing its most extreme members it's only hurting itself? That just seems amazing to me.

As I've said before, the left is dragging me kicking and screaming into being a bigot.

In a discussion I had with a woman (an AA) only yesterday, she agreed with me that out here in the real world, most of us just want to live our lives, get along with other folks, and be left the hell alone.

I've also said that the reason I'm no longer pro-abortion (with exceptions for some adults) is exactly because of that ghoulish behavior.

I believe, to some extent, this is intentional but for a completely different reason.

You know that old joke about how you can "cure" a headache by dropping a bowling ball on your toe? You don't cure the headache, of course - but you create a pain so much worse, you forget all about the headache.

That's what this is - adopt an extreme position - hammer people with it - and eventually, the lesser extreme position previously not accepted suddenly becomes acceptable.

Actually, it's something that Trump did all the time, and it is usually good business - begin bargaining in a negotiation with an extreme offer, and negotiate to the middle until you get what you originally wanted. That way, both sides leave believing they gained something, when in reality, they gave you EXACTLY what you wanted to begin with. Prior to Trump, the American government would always offer other nations their best deal FIRST, and eventually found themselves giving away the store - and idiotically walked away feeling triumphant because they accomplished --- something.

Give me a real world example of this as it pertains to trans or abortion.

We already had liberal abortion rights in this country.

Trans people already had civil rights - nobody was stopping them from doing their thing.

This is a real question: what would have been between full rights and what the kiddie diddling Democrats are pushing for now?

Unchallenged acceptance in all walks of life.

Abortion has gone through stages of being a dirty secret people did out of sight; young girls typically went to go live with their "aunt" for a few months and came back later. That's how my dad and his sister were born. As abortion rights were advanced, so did the barbarism of methods, until every day run of the mill methods became - acceptable. I remember when the day after pill was also considered barbaric - and I've known pro-choice people who think so. Now, it is the preferred method.

This has been a pattern of the Western world, for the left. A Kennedy Democrat today would be a moderate Republican. PUSH to th left, and eventually the middle moves to the left.

Please point me to a single case of anyone advocating for or dismembering an actually born child. then show me where people are advocating for full term abortions or where they have actually occured.

If you do that i will vote for whoever you would like me to in the next election.
