My cats pretty much have the run of the house. The only thing I don't want them doing is getting on the new furniture. Well, Big Cat wants to test me. First time he's been on the sofa and we've had it about 2 months now. What does he do when I tell him to get down? Rolls over, stretches, gives me this look (I can do what I want) and goes back to sleep.

Needless to say, his sleep didn't last long, I'm a pushover for the kitties but not when it comes to white hair on my brand new sofa.

He is beautiful, but you do know he is now plotting his revenge

no, that was my revenge, this morning when I woke up his butt was in my face, he sat on my head because I didn't get up earlier to feed them.

Or so he wants you to think that! Be aware! Wear shin guards, use a mirror around every corner, always be aware of your surroundings, when you least expect he will be successful!
He looks like a very cool cat! I miss having cats inside the house :ohwell:

He is a cool cat, very quiet and calm, but he does bite at 6 am, loves calves.

I have a couple of throws that I use on the couch for kitties. They have become attached to the throws and don't get on the furniture if the throws are not there, and the only time they're not there is when they're in the wash. I started doing this as soon as I got the new sofa, showed kitties that the throws were for them. They got it.

I have a large quilt that I put over the area they like sleep, that's working for now.
