How is everyone's free trial of Socialism going? :ohwell:
Well I went to Food Lion today......... no ground beef, shitpaper, rubbing alcohol, eggs and other things. Reminecent of cold war Soviet Union. So if this is socialism I think it pretty much blows and those that embrace it should be lynched. 400 plus dollars on a lot of canned goods.
I DID however get Cheese-Its. So if I drop dead tonight I have that going for me. Also If I die it would be a shame, I didn't get to fulfil my wish of eliminating 5,000 leftist cockbites from the face of the earth with a single thrust of my mighty M1 Garand sword.

I think they should make a game show out of it. Stock the shelves, then open the gate and watch the huddled masses claw and fight their way to food and toilet paper. If you're too slow, better luck next time.

Limits on what canned peaches or Dinty Moore? no ground beef, shitpaper, rubbing alcohol, eggs to limit! I didn't even bother with the fresh produce except bananas and the lil miniature tangerine things she likes... Cuties?

I thought you get your groceries delivered because you are in the boonies.
We do but there are essentials. No rubbing alcohol to be had online Walmart or Food Lion... plus fresh meats cannot be delivered via Walmart anyway. Once in the store I'll look at meats she runs the canned stuff. We both buy our favorite junk. They OFTEN screw up online. she ordered 8 cans of canned chicken 12 oz maybe? Well they sent her 8 cans alright.... 4 packs so we got 32 cans for the price of 8. We dropped some off at the food bank.
They send 4 boxes when the crap will fit in one. They sent Oreo's in a separate box by themselves. They cost like 2 bucks.... they LOST money on that one.

Our world has gone crazy. I am fortunate to have been raised to make something out of nothing. I sneak lettuce, kale and
spinach into pot roast and chili, etc.. It disintegrates. Hub doesn’t know the difference. I don’t waste anything.

I saw that MEME on Facebook ........

As a Russian Bot I am essential .... so I keep working and get paid.

I saw a few pop up last night. :lmao:

I think it was Tucker Carlson who said it and it made me laugh but it does feel like a "free trial."

Our grocery bill, over all, has increased. It is hard when you buy what you can find vs. what is on sale and/or the store brand.

I wanted pancake syrup and the bottle left was $5.99. That is far more than I would normally pay for syrup but we needed it so I bought it. It is those sorts of things that add up.

Yep, when you are there you don't always get what you want, you have to take what they have, and you have to pay for that privilege.
