Who carries solid wood bookshelves in southern maryland?

I'm looking for 2-4 book shelves 72" tall. Finished or unfinished.

Everything Amish (Route 5; Hughesville, MD Phone: 301-932-4164) sells some solid wood furniture - Not sure whether they have 72" tall bookshelves (and not what I would call cheap either).

Try Thompson's Furniture in Hollywood or North Carolina Furniture Connection across the bridge. They have some nice stuff

North Carolina furniture Connection across the bridge has nothing in stock. You order it and it will arrive in 6-8 weeks. Also they jack the prices 50% then say they are having a '20% off sale". I just went there last Friday. Not worth the trip.

Check out some of the Amish furniture shops in Charlotte Hall, Mechcanicsville. Many farms along Thompson Corner Rd,(236) Charles St.(Rt 6), Dixon Lyon rd and Ryceville Rd that have furniture signs out front. Proably the same furniture as Everything Amish and a whole lot cheaper.

Thanks all :yay:

Luggy's getting started on redecorating!
If you are interested I'll dig up the site that I ordered some unfinished night stands from. They are kits, but I thought the lower price was worth the labor which wasn't much.

Yup I'm interested. Gonna try to paint this weekend. Thinking furniture, carpet, and laminate flooring in the next month or so.

Here you go. I just remembered I had one problem. They sent me two left hand drawer slides, but they took care of it right away.

I second this. We get all of our furniture from Mr. Yoder. :yay:

Day and I bought a new dining set last weekend. We drove to Waldorf to check out Regency (across from WaWa shortly after Mattawoman/Rt. 5) and what a joke that place is! Highly overpriced and nothing but a bunch of Habib's trying to get your money.

Check the Busy Corner Chair shop off 235 on Loveville Rd. They will make it for you to your specs and color. Probably cheaper than other places also. I'd do the job, but I'm swamped.

Why do they have to be referred to as "Habib's". They are Sales Associates and they're just trying to make a living like anyone else!
