Solomons Christmas Walk

Tonight December 3rd and tomorrow night December 4th from 6 to 9 PM.
PAWS will have cats and kittens for adoption at Carmen's Gallery. Solomons Vet is having an open house.

Pepper's Pet Pantry will be open late both nights. 10% off all boxed and bagged dog and cat treats plus a lot of sale/clearance items. We will be raffling off a $50 store gift certificate at 9 PM both nights. Raffle tickets available from 10 AM to 9 PM today and tomorrow 11 AM to 9 PM. We have a Christmas tree with money stockings for several rescue groups and a box for food and treat donations for TCAS.

BTW, have finally coordinated the "check presentation" with PAWS and the tiki bar for this afternoon. E&P woudl have been a great addition to the picture! People are still talking about their pimp and ho costumes!

I will be there..and will def stop by the store..my boy needs something to chew on, and maybe some kind of cattle prod to keep him off the cat..:killingme

He can't stand it..poor guy..and i am pretty sure the male cat (the one he chases down, not my female) likes it..he just sits there and lets him bite..he doesn't bite hard, but I don't want him to even THINK he can do that..he is never without me watching him, and he tries so hard to listen to me when the cat runs by..I can literally SEE the tug of war in his mind..and I win about ..hmmm 40-50% of the time.. I'd like to get that to 100%...the female cat cured him of her by whopping him good a few times,,,but its hard to get him to listen when the cat is such a willing victim :evil:

yep shock collar.... zappo .. one time when he touches the cat.... and bam!!! he thinks the cat did it!! :jet: :jerry: cured!!

I'll remember that when you hop on the forum begging for help because your 'baby' is choking to death on a cat. Then I shall mock you, and mock you some more!

Seriously, you can probably put it on L2 (I'll hit myself on L2, no biggy, it's pretty mild, just wierd and a dog is like "WTF was that!") and get the desired result. The beauty of these things is you don't need to go all stun gun on their asses, :lmao:.

Our poor Dexter dog got clawed by our bully-boy cat (Zuma) a couple of days ago.... his feelings were hurt (and he got a small scratch). Nope, he didn't instigate it, it was the cat attacking him, not the other way around. Go figure....

:killingme I know, I know. and he really wants to listen, he will literally take steps foward and back when I am telling him to stop..but the big fluffy kitty is too....yummy...but he looks at me with those sweet eyes..but he really needs to learn not to go after things, esp with the baby.

Oh good gravy yes, no, baby... Yeah, you gotta stop the 'mouthiness'.... babies are WAYYY to soft and squishy even for a gentle-gentle dog... No mouthy!!

before he does harm the cat..... I did SHOCK the crap and BEGEBUS out of a few of mine when the kittens arrived.... and ask if they have done that again... NOPE :biggrin:
ALL I need to do is give a LEAVE IT! and they leave them alone!! :yahoo:
