In all my years of watching :GoFastTurnLeft: I have never been to a NASCAR race... sad huh?

I was talking with Hoover this morning on the ride in and we got talking about Daytona. It use to be I was all geared up for it, but now I will just turn it on and catch the beginning then the end. If I miss a race -

I have just fallen out of "glued to the screen" with the media hype and corporate branding of everything... racers cannot bump each other without getting fined or penalized. The hard nosed racers are gone and have been replaced by "pretty boys" who do not know chit about the car - they just know how to drive. I think the nostalgia is gone and NASCAR has taken on a new face... it's not just one of my favorite pastimes anymore.

Certain races I will watch - Daytona, Richmond, Bristol, Talladega, Atlanta - but even then I will not break my neck to watch them.

Since NO ONE wanted to compete in the Duel's beside ME , I collected 60 points and combine with 10 in the Shoot -Out for a total of 70 , I claim BRAGGING right as Speed Week CHAMPION .
