I've owned some of six of those on that list. There's a few more that are on my "would like to own" list too.

I had the '64 Wagoneer. Took it places vehicles just shouldn't go. Engine blew up on the 'Jersey Turnpike, replaced it with one from an AMC Ambassador. Split the starter ring gear. Got it stuck up past the axles on the beach in pump out dredge from channel dredging. Many 24 hour days plowing deep snow. Lots of ski trips to VT.

Good times.....

I've had a CJ-2, many Broncos 66-79, many F-series trucks, 73-79, several Scouts (80, 800, II), Jeep "baby" Cherokee, Grand Cherokee.

The old Waggys were great...the family I lived with in El Slavador had one ...a 1972 I think it was...and we traveled all over the country of El Slavador and in to Guatemala in that thing. Rough country.

Shot full of glaring errors though..like these:

The second-generation big Bronco was no less cool than the original, especially if you checked the box to option a big-block 460-cid V-8 under the hood.

There were only two engine options for the 78/79 Broncos... a 351m or a 400 and they are externally identical.

In addition, the solid front axle was 78/79 only..in 1980 they went to TTB.
