For your consideration ...

Maybe it's actually a 3000 gallon tank rated with a capacity of 2700 gallons? I can't find a 2700 gallon tank anywhere, or a 3000 gallon tank. The standard largest tank size is the 1000 gallon tank, which is 13 to 16 feet long, which also is mostly used for very large houses, commercial applications and farm uses. For scale what he is getting is even a larger tank than what you see at the BJ's propane tank refilling area. And from what I can find, it appears that the largest residential size the one could possibly get installed is a 2000 gallon water capacity rated tank anyway. Water Capacity, (WC), is the propane industry rating system btw.

I did find this ...

Why? I know the mansion is big, but damn.
Heating, lots of heat loss on the water. Cooking, quite a few lavish parties, some which will use those outdoor heating things. Hot tub and pool will both use propane for heating. Since security would want to minimize the amount of deliveries, seeing as a tanker truck full of propane could make a great FAE bomb properly rigged, the large amount of storage makes sense.

Or it is three 1000 gallon tanks as reported here.
Found it, it's three tanks consisting of two 1,000 gallon-tanks and one 500-gallon tank, which, with 80% fill capacities, equate to 2000 gallons.

And really, that roof needs replacing first. And maybe after replacing that, solar panels could cover the entire roof area and really power that house.

With his money, solar shingles might be a better bet. Less efficiency, but more aesthetics.

Welp, there goes that neighborhood.

Used to be one could count on the local constabulatory to keep the Irish rif-raff out of one's neighborhood.
