Around the Cherokee, NC area, about 45 minutes south of Ashville.

We vacationed in Pigeon Forge last summer. Made a day trip down to Bryson City and rode the train through the Nantahala Gorge.

Homer J, Yeah I know exactly where those last two shots were taken, the first might be down along the river between Gatlinburg and when you start up to mountain. At least that would be my guess for the first one. The Gorge is a great area as well, spent some time over there photographying the kayakers twice while I was down this time. There are so many cool places to see and shot.

Actually, the first one was right below the Nanthala Outdoor Center where the train stopped. My kids are still bugging me to go back. We didn't get to spend near as much time in the national park as I would have liked with all the things to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Maybe next time.
