What kinda camera are you all using to achieve this level of image clarity with close up shots? Or is that attainable even with low-end cameras so long as you play with the settings?

Of the two, I think I like the second shot more. The water droplets do it for me.

This was done with a canon S3-IS---a point & shoot higher end. Hand to stop it down to keep the flower from being blown out with the water on it.
I like the water too---I have a thing for water shots--of all kinds.....ck out this one out...
