No. Don't do it. It makes me crazy to think there are actually parents out there who would allow their child to play with a snake like that. :burning:

The snake is obviously defanged and has probably had its venom sacs removed. It is essentially helpless. It is, if I'm following discussion on another news board, an odd Indian practice to keep such cobras (and other snakes) as pets.

Obviously the snake is no longer venomous.

Also obviously, if wanted to off that kid for just existing.

I am not a snake fan.

...and in Delaware, it's not uncommon for "Nanny" to turn into a cobra. A mean, biting, chasing kiddies around the house, spitting venom, Cobra.
