A barrel containing decomposing human remains was discovered by boaters at Lake Mead in Nevada, authorities said Monday.

The macabre find was made by a park-goer Sunday afternoon at Lake Mead National Recreation Area near Hemenway Harbor in Boulder City, the National Park Service told The Post.

Park rangers then responded to the area and set up a perimeter. The federal agency’s Investigative Service Branch is now working with Las Vegas police in an ongoing probe.

What you're telling me is that the barrel method is good for at least 40 years? sound better than chaining to cement.

I was thinking a different kind of 'wack', which I definitely did in the '80s (and honestly have since the '70s).

We get our winterizing antifreeze in 55 gallon drums at work. I finally snagged one to make an outboard motor test tank last week. They're a lot easier to work with than steel, when it comes to cutting them down. :yay:
They make good trash cans too.
